Pollington Cricket Club ended the 2016 season with promotion into Division 3 of the Pontefract & District Cricket League. That completed 4 years of back-to back promotions for the side since they moved from the Central Yorkshire League. The side plays in that league on a Saturday, with occasional cup games on a Sunday. The Snaith & District Evening League still plays on a Thursday evening. A list of season fixtures will be available on the club’s Facebook page. The current committee is Paul Baker (Chairman), Mark Punton (Secretary 01405 860382), John Punton (Treasurer) and Stephen Dixon (1st Team Captain). 

The pavilion is available for hire at very reasonable rates for parties and meetings. It has a small kitchen, two changing rooms and a large enclosed grass area ideal for kids parties.
