The Group is grateful for the contributions made by those retiring from the Committee and are pleased that they still intend to be active members of Pollington Neighbourhood Watch.

The Crime Prevention Event was held on Friday 4th August as planned in the Village Hall and Marc Dias gave a presentation covering many of the factors which affect the likelihood of crime occurring at private properties and emphasised practical steps which can be taken to limit it. Inspector Mark Lovell also attended the event and made a major contribution during the question and answer session after the presentation. Sam Chandler was also able to issue several more residents with their SMARTWATER kits.

FACEBOOK activity continues to keep local residents abreast with local criminal activity  Thank you all for your contributions it really does make a difference.

HOWEVER it is still essential that incidents and concerns are reported to the police using 101 for non emergency contact or 999 to report a crime in progress. Just because the information is entered on Facebook it does not mean that the Police are aware of it.

Next Meeting Monday 6th November 2017  at 7.30pm in the King's Head.

Thank you for your continued support for POLLINGTON NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH.
