POLLINGTON Y.C.A.
Pollington Countrywomen’s Association was formed in 1973 and is a branch of the Yorkshire Countrywomen’s Association. At present there are 119 branches throughout Yorkshire. Click here for the county web site.
Pollington branch is a small group of around 20 members and welcomes new members at all times from Pollington and surrounding villages. All our members enjoy the friendly atmosphere and our meetings and events. We try to make the group as enjoyable as possible by covering a wide range of activities. Some members like total involvement of all events whilst others just like to attend the monthly meetings. The important thing is that everyone enjoys themselves.
The meetings are usually held in Pollington Village Hall starting at 7.30 pm, on the first Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise stated).
All our meetings and events are open to members and non-members alike. We have guest speakers covering a wide range of topics.
In addition, we enjoy many outings to the theatre, restaurants and a variety of interesting places.
During the winter months members have formed a craft group. At this group everyone has a chance to share their many talents for other to enjoy.
Membership is £20 per year, plus £2 each meeting (includes tea & raffle). Visitors are welcome at any of our meetings at a cost of £3 per visit
Please come along, visitors and new members are always welcomed.
